Ulli Neuhoff

Ulli Neuhoff (* 1965 in Stuttgart ) is a German television journalist.

Ulli Neuhoff was born in Stuttgart in 1965 and studied German and political science in Tübingen and Newcastle, UK .

He first worked for the radio in the SDR - Landesstudio Tübingen . This was followed in 1995 by an internship at Südwestfunk (SWF). Ulli Neuhoff then moved to Mainz to join the Rhineland-Palatinate regional news as a reporter.

Since 1998 he has been working for the foreign department of the SWR and reported for the ARD European magazine from all over Europe with a focus on Eastern Europe. At the same time he has been providing information on the Arab world and southern Africa on behalf of SWR for more than ten years . He was special correspondent for the soccer world championship in South Africa.

From January 1, 2011 until the end of 2015, Neuhoff was head of the ARD studio in Johannesburg for Südwestrundfunk. He was responsible for the ARD television coverage from all over southern Africa. His predecessor was Richard Klug , who had reported from Johannesburg since 2006.

After returning from Africa, Neuhoff took on a position as SWR editor, where he is responsible for the ARD program Weltspiegel , among other things .
