Ulrich Bubolz (born February 25, 1981 ) is a German hockey goalkeeper from Club Berliner HC .

Bubolz came on June 6, 2002 in a friendly game of the German national hockey team against Malaysia in Hamburg for his first international match . In the success of the German team at the 2006 World Hockey Championship , Bubolz was the first goalkeeper, as he was preferred to Christian Schulte shortly before the tournament . At this tournament, Bubolz was voted the best goalkeeper. For his sporting success he received the silver bay leaf .
