Ulrich Fülleborn
Ulrich Fülleborn (born April 21, 1920 in Ryczywół ; † November 16, 2012 ) was a German literary scholar and Germanist .
Life
Fülleborn grew up in the Mark Brandenburg. He studied German, philosophy, English and Romance studies in Berlin and Hamburg . After his doctorate on June 24, 1958 and his habilitation in 1964, he was appointed professor of modern German literary history at the University of Erlangen in 1965 .
His focus was on classical modernism, especially the authors Kafka , Musil and Rilke , as well as early realism with Büchner, Grabbe and Grillparzer.
