Ulrich Greifenberg (born February 23, 1953 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

The goalkeeper played for Borussia Dortmund in his youth and initially played for the Dortmund amateur clubs Hombrucher FV 09 and DJK Hellweg Lütgendortmund as an adult . He later moved to Rot-Weiß Lüdenscheid and made his debut in the 2nd Bundesliga on August 6, 1977 in a 1-1 draw against Schwarz-Weiß Essen . After he had made all the games for Lüdenscheid in the 1977/78 season, he lost his regular place in the following season and moved to KSV Baunatal in the summer of 1979 . A year later Greifenberg moved to TuS Schloß Neuhaus in Paderborn. With the new houses he became champions of the Oberliga Westfalen in 1982 and made the leap into the 2nd Bundesliga in the following round of promotion. After only one year, Schloss Neuhaus was relegated from bottom of the table. Ulrich Greifenberg played 78 second division games, 51 for Lüdenscheid and 27 for Schloß Neuhaus.
