Ulrich Sattler

Ulrich Sattler (born February 17, 1937 in Berlin ; † February 15, 2017 ) was a German lawyer and judge at the Federal Social Court .

Life

After studying law and political science in Göttingen , Berlin and Marburg , Ulrich Sattler passed the two state law exams in 1961 and 1965 . He then worked as a research assistant at the Ruhr University in Bochum .

In 1967 Sattler became a judge in the administrative courts in Bremen before he was appointed judge at the regional social court there in January 1974 .

Since October 1979, Sattler has been a judge at the Federal Social Court in the 7th Senate, and since December 1992 he has been the presiding judge at the Federal Social Court in the 11th Senate, where he was responsible for cases relating to labor promotion law. He retired in February 2002.

Ulrich Sattler died shortly before his 80th birthday.
