Ulrike Hanneken-Deckert

Ulrike Hanneken-Deckert (born September 13, 1957 in Hamburg ) is a German politician ( SPD ). She was a member of the Hamburg Parliament from 2011 to 2015 .

Professional and private

After graduating from secondary school in 1974, Hanneken-Deckert trained as a teacher . From 1977 to 1989 she ran a children's and youth recreational facility. In 1999 she began studying at a technical college , which she completed in 2003 with a diploma in social pedagogy . Since 2003 she has been working in the child and youth welfare sector in Hamburg.

Hanneken-Deckert is married, has two children and lives in Hamburg-Rahlstedt .

Political career

In the state elections in Hamburg in 2011 , Hanneken-Deckert ran for the SPD in the Rahlstedt constituency . With 3.6 percent of the vote, she was able to enter parliament directly. Since March 7, 2011 she has been a member of the Hamburg Parliament . In the 2015 mayor election, she ran again in the constituency of Rahlstedt, but could not win a seat.
