Ulrike Schielke-Ziesing (born June 17, 1969 in Neubrandenburg ) is a German politician ( AfD ). She is a member of the 19th Bundestag .

Schielke-Ziesing is an administrator at Deutsche Rentenversicherung . From 2014 to 2017 she was state treasurer of the AfD Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and ran as a direct candidate of the AfD in constituency 17 ( Bundestag constituency Mecklenburgische Seenplatte II - Rostock III district ) and in third place on the AfD state list.

Positions

Ulrike Schielke-Ziesing said in July 2017 that Germany does not need the European Union , instead she pleaded for a revitalization of the European Economic Community . After her election to the Bundestag in September 2017, Die Zeit wrote about Schielke-Ziesing: “Despite her position as state treasurer, Ulrike Schielke-Ziesing has hardly attracted public attention politically.” Ulrike Schielke-Ziesing was the first to sign the Erfurt resolution .

In March 2018, Schielke-Ziesing, as a member of the party-internal group called “ Alternative Mitte ”, turned against the course of its state association, which saw no reason to clearly distinguish itself from right-wing extremist people.

Schielke-Ziesing is the chairwoman of the Audit Committee and a member of the Labor and Social Committee and the Budget Committee. She is also the parliamentary group's pension policy spokesperson.
