In the San Luis area, the great landowner Barrett is still not satisfied with his property; So he terrorizes the small farmers in his area, whom he harassed or even murdered by his henchman Sam Caulder in order to get their land cheaply. The sheriff asked for help requests assistance. While Ted Mulligan is on his way to his post, Barrett takes on the next trickery: Jonathan Morris is robbed of his property, where mineral resources have been found.
Mulligan begins investigating the incident and finds Morris shot dead. He kills one of Barrett's men and is hidden and cared for by old gold prospector Sebastian. He likes to talk about alcohol and breaks into the saloon to empty a keg. When he is caught by Barrett's men, they kill his beloved donkey. Sebastian is now doing everything to get revenge.
Barrett, who has now been recognized as a murderer, has to deal with the father of a girl he has just seduced and Sebastian; however, it can render both harmless. Caulder, who feels cheated, attacks him too, and Barrett wins again. Now Mulligan intervenes and brings his assignment to a successful end: He can kill Barrett.
