União das Freguesias de Arez e Amieira do Tejo ( Portuguese for: Association of the Municipalities of Arez and Amieira do Tejo), Arez e Amieira do Tejo for short , is a Portuguese municipality ( Freguesia ) in the Nisa district with 158.23 km² and 497 inhabitants ( 2011). Their population density is 3.1 inhabitants / km².

history

The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform of September 29, 2013 by merging the former municipalities of Arez and Amieira do Tejo .
