The União das Freguesias de Galafura e Covelinhas is a Portuguese municipality ( Freguesia ) in the district ( Concelho ) Peso da Régua in northern Portugal .

history

The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform of September 29, 2013 by merging the former municipalities Galafura and Covelinhas .

Galafura became the seat of the new administration.
