The União das Freguesias de Valença, Cristelo Covo e Arão is a Portuguese municipality ( Freguesia ) in the district ( Concelho ) Valença in northwestern Portugal .

history

The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform of September 29, 2013 by merging the former municipalities of Valença , Cristelo Covo and Arão . Valença became the seat of the new administration.
