The United World College Changshu China (UWC CSC) is one of the current 18 United World Colleges . The boarding school, founded in 2015 as the fifteenth United World College, is named after its location in the city of Changshu in western China . As usual for the UWCs, the students of the UWC CSC are selected by their respective national committees. The college offers capacities for up to 570 students, 220 of which are attending a year of the two-year International Baccalaureate Diploma program and a further 130 students who are completing a one-year preparatory course for the IB Diploma program.

Campus and facilities

The campus is located on an island in the northwestern part of Kuncheng Lake in Changshu , Jiangsu Province , China. The facilities include a theater; Athletics stadium, swimming pool, basketball, soccer and beach volleyball fields; a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) center; a multipurpose conference center; a cafeteria; a library and residential buildings for all students and teachers. The sustainable energy concept includes a. a geothermal heating system and solar systems.
