Uniw ( Ukrainian Унів ; Russian Унив , Polish Uniów ) is a village in the Ukrainian Lviv Oblast with about 450 inhabitants (2004).
The village was called Mishhirja ( Міжгір'я ) until 2003 and administratively belongs to the district council of Korosne ( Коросне ) in Peremyschljany district .
Uniw located 7 km north of the Rajonzentrum Peremyshliany on the banks of Hnyla Lypa , a left tributary of the Dniester , and on the territorial road T-18-06 .
In the north of the village, the Dormition Monastery of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church is once the most important monastery in Galicia .
