Our lady
Our wife ( Italian Madonna di Senales ) is the largest village in Schnalstal in South Tyrol and a fraction of the municipality of Schnals . The place, through which the Schnalser Bach flows, is located at around 1500 m above sea level below the Vernagt reservoir .
The name of the village comes from the pilgrimage church of Our Lady in Schnals , which dates back to the early 14th century. An important facility in the village is the ArcheoParc Schnals , an archaeological open-air museum that illuminates the living conditions of the Neolithic man from the Tisenjoch ("Ötzi").
