The Schnalser Bach ( Italian Rio di Senales ) is a 25.7 km long tributary of the Etsch in South Tyrol . It has a catchment area of 220 km². The brook has its source in the Ötztal Alps , is dammed in the Vernagt reservoir and flows through the communities of Schnals in the Schnalstal valley of the same name and, in its lowest section, Kastelbell-Tschars and Naturns . The stream flows into the Adige near Naturno. Tributaries are the Lagauntalbach , the Mastaunbach and the Pfossenbach .
