Unteraltertheim is a district of Altertheim in the district of Würzburg in Bavaria . Unteraltertheim is the second largest district next to Oberaltertheim and Steinbach. In 2007 there were 854 inhabitants in Unteraltertheim.
history
The village was first mentioned in a document in 775. From the 17th century until the November pogrom in 1938 there was a Jewish community with its own synagogue .
Since the regional reform in Bavaria , Unteraltertheim has formed the new Altertheim community with Oberaltertheim and Steinbach.
Economy and Infrastructure
There are two soccer fields, a bowling alley, a gym and in winter a natural ice rink in the village. A tennis court is also available.
The Welzbachtalradweg connects the village after about ten kilometers in a southwestern direction in Werbach with the Taubertalradweg . The Welzbachtalradweg leads in a north-easterly direction to Oberaltertheim . From there there is a connection via other cycle paths to the Main cycle path near Würzburg.
