Unterfresen is a village in the municipality of Wies in the district of Deutschlandsberg , Styria .
The village west of Wies is located in the valley of the White Sulm . On January 1, 2020, the village had 413 inhabitants. Wielfresen , formerly the capital of the municipality of the same name, which was dissolved in 2014 , also belongs to the village .
