The White Sulm is a brook from the Koralpe in Styria and the source brook of the Sulm .

The White Sulm rises at about 1570  m above sea level. A. on the Brendlalm on Wolscheneck  ( 1699  m above sea level ), in the Bad Schwanberg municipality . It runs south-east and takes the Rettenbach from the Garanaser high moor from the left . Here it forms the boundary between Bad Schwanberg and Wies . Then it bends briefly southwards to the confluence of the Stierriegelbach and goes eastwards from there. At Wernersdorf it enters the West Styrian Riedelland and flows through the southern branch of the Sulmtal . It goes through Vorderesdorf , Altenmarkt and Wies, and then passes Brunn and Pölfing (left bank). At Gasselsdorf and Prarath , on the municipal boundary from Sankt Martin im Sulmtal to Gleinstätten , it joins after a good 28 kilometers from the right with the Schwarzen Sulm to the Sulm, a tributary of the Mur .
