Unterholzen is a wasteland in the municipality of Winzer in the Deggendorf district in Bavaria .

Location and accessibility

Unterholzen is located about 500 meters northeast of the municipality of Winzer and is connected to it by Pledlstrasse and Schwanenkirchener Strasse . The Unterholzer Mühlbach flows south of the settlement.

history

The wasteland of Unterholzen goes back to a mill located away from the village of vintners. In 1480 it was bought by the knight Georg von Puchberg, owner of Hochwinzer Castle . The settlement, which is also mentioned in official documents as Unterholzermühle , belongs as part of the municipality to Winzer and was subordinate to the court in Hengersberg and the Deggendorf district office in the 19th century . For the year 1861 four buildings with a total of eight inhabitants are named for the wasteland Unterholzen.
