The village of Unterkrumbach is one of 21 districts of the municipality of Kirchensittenbach in the district of Nürnberger Land in Bavaria and is located about two kilometers from the main town of the municipality. The place belongs to the administrative region Middle Franconia , lies in the Sittenbachtal and has about 40 agricultural properties as well as a larger carpentry business. Unterkrumbach is traversed by the Unterkrumbacher Bach, which flows into the Sittenbach near the village. In the north is Aspertshofen , in the east the Hopfengartenmühle and Kleedorf , in the south Lindberghof, Kühnhofen and Altensittenbach , in the south-west the Große Hansgörgl (601 m) and in the north-west Oberkrumbach . On April 1, 1912, an undamaged bronze sword of the Möriger type was found during the construction of the water pipeline .
