The Sittenbach flows through the following

use

The hydropower of the Sittenbach was used to operate mechanical systems in several places along its course. These were mostly mills . Parts of the former weirs for damming the water can still be found near Aspertshofen and Hagenmühle. In Hopfengartenmühle, water power was used to operate a sawmill.

A use in the sense of shipping is and was not possible or only on short sections due to the very natural course of the stream.
