The Upper Lake River is a river in the center of the Australian state of Tasmania .

geography

River course

The river arises in Arthurs Lake in the Great Western Tiers , about 60 km south of Launceston , from Tumbledown Creek and various small streams and rivulets. From the southern end of the lake it flows to the southeast and forms the Lake River in Woods Lake together with other small streams and rivulets .
