Urs Oberlin

Urs Oberlin (born March 30, 1919 in Bern ; † June 25, 2008 ) was a Swiss writer .

Oberlin studied law and dentistry at the University of Friborg and the University of Bern ; at the Heinrich-Heine University in Dusseldorf , he was in 1957 with a thesis on the tongue of the people doctorate .

In 1952 Oberlin received the canton of Bern's literary prize, and in 1969 he was awarded the canton of Zurich's literary prize. He also translated from Italian and Andri Peer's poems from Romansh.
