Ursula Koch (born April 12, 1944 in Gunzenhausen ) is a German writer .

Life

She studied German and history and was a. a. worked as a development worker in Burkina Faso / West Africa for three years . After her return, she remained closely associated with development aid. Together with her husband, she is involved in church development aid and supports projects for women in need. Her novels and biographies on historical and biblical subjects, translated into several languages , often deal with women who are looking for their way in a world dominated by men.

Ursula Koch lives in Berlin today .

In 2006 she received the cultural sponsorship award of the city of Spenge .
