Ursula Mogg

Ursula Mogg (born November 12, 1953 in Koblenz ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After the High School on the second-chance education had acquired, studied Ursula Mogg political science , English language and literature and international law . She later worked as a research assistant for a member of the Bundestag and then as a consultant in the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Family and Health of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate .

Political party

Ursula Mogg has been a member of the SPD since 1975. From 2005 to 2006 she was chairwoman of the SPD Koblenz. In 2006 she moved from the SPD Koblenz to the SPD Bad Ems, where she was elected chairwoman.

MPs

From 1979 to 1999 Ursula Mogg was a member of the Koblenz City Council and was chairwoman of the SPD parliamentary group from 1988 to 1991.

From 1994 to 2009 she was a member of the German Bundestag . Since 2002 she has acted as deputy spokeswoman for the Rhineland-Palatinate regional group and since December 2005 as deputy spokeswoman for the "Security Issues " working group of the SPD parliamentary group .

Since 1998 Ursula Mogg has been deputy chairwoman of the German- British parliamentary group .

Ursula Mogg moved into the Bundestag through the Rhineland-Palatinate state list until 2009 .
