Ursviken is a place ( tätort ) in the Swedish province of Västerbottens län and the historical province of Västerbotten . It belongs to the Skellefteå municipality .

The place is located on the Skellefteå river just before it flows into the Baltic Sea, about eight kilometers southeast of Skellefteå . Länsväg 372 and the Bastuträsk – Skelleftehamn railway run through the village . Ursviken is with its 3913 inhabitants (2015) the second largest place in the municipality.
