Uta Fußangel

Uta Fußangel (born July 31, 1969 in Korschenbroich ) is a German presenter .

education

After graduating from high school in 1990, Uta Fußangel went to New York as an au pair for a year . Here she dealt with acting and music.

She then returned to Germany and studied music theater studies in Bayreuth for a year. After two semesters , Uta Fußangel moved to Bochum to study theater, film and television for three years. On the side she also took acting and speaking lessons.

She then did an internship at Mönchengladbach local radio station Radio 90.1, followed by a two-year traineeship . During this time she also took part in seminars at the German Radio Academy in Oberhausen .

Career

Uta Fußangel began her freelance career in 1998 at the radio station WDR 4 . Here she moderated the program "Gut auflage" until August 2006 . From January 1, 2007 to the end of February 2011, you could hear them in WDR 4 "Musik-Café" every 4 weeks. In the future, she will only give event tips once a week.

On television she started at NBC GIGA in the same year , where she rose to editor-in-chief in 2002. She also had her own little show called "uta.tv" . Her work and that of her colleague Miriam Pielhau and the NBC GIGA team received the Grimme Online Award on June 25, 2001 . She left NBC GIGA on August 20, 2004.

At the beginning of 2004, Uta Fußangel presented the “Cloudless Special from Egypt” on VOX , and from June 26, 2004 the weekly program “Simply Relax” . Their second season ended in autumn 2005.

Since April 11, 2005, she has hosted the program “Guten Morgen NRW” on tv.nrw (today NRW.TV) until her baby break in June 2006.

In addition, Uta Fußangel regularly moderates various events, such as B. the 7th TV-Movie-Internetawards in April 2002 or the gala of the company Samsung as part of the IFA . She is also repeatedly active as a voice actress for Splendid Synchron.

Their daughter was born on October 9, 2006.

From June 2008 to November 2011 she moderated the weekly magazine “Kultur mit Uta” on NRW.TV. From July 2011 to February 2012 she was a presenter at Radio B2 .

Since June 2013 she has been moderating a weekly magazine “Kiek in” on Sylt1. It's about the island of Sylt on the Internet.
