Uta Rüping

Uta Rüping (born June 14, 1956 in Neuss ) is a German lawyer and notary as well as Vice President of the Lower Saxony State Court .

Life

Uta Rüping studied law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn between 1975 and 1980 . After her legal clerkship with stations in Munich , Augsburg , at the European Parliament in Luxembourg and Strasbourg , she passed the second state examination in Munich in 1983. She did her doctorate in 1986 with Fritz Ossenbühl at the University of Bonn with an administrative law dissertation .

Rüping has been a lawyer since 1983, a specialist lawyer for administrative law since 1993, a specialist lawyer for medical law since 2007 and a notary in Hanover since 2000 . The focus of the law firm Rüping und Partner, which she founded in Hanover, is administrative law and medical law . Rüping is co-author of a monograph on medical practice fees, published articles on medical and administrative law and is a member of the editorial boards of the Lower Saxony administrative gazettes and the journal for public law in Northern Germany .

In 2007 Rüping was the parliament of Lower Saxony to the judge at the Lower Saxony State Court selected. She has been Vice President of the Lower Saxony State Court since 2013.
