Ute-Christine Krupp (* 1962 in Börsborn ) is a German writer .

Life

Ute-Christine Krupp studied economics , philosophy , psychology and sociology in Germany and France. From 1988 to 1991 she was a member of the Cologne Authors' Workshop . At first she wrote mainly poetry and radio plays , then prose .

Awards

She has received numerous awards for her literary work. In 1994 she received the Rolf Dieter Brinkmann scholarship , the Martha Saalfeld sponsorship award and the Joseph Breitbach sponsorship award , and in 1997 the sponsorship award of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia in the literature category. In addition, she received numerous residency grants from 1999 to 2008 - for Amsterdam, Tokyo, Schöppingen , Wiepersdorf Castle , Ahrenshoop and Sylt. She has been a member of the PEN Center Germany since 2013 . In 2016 she received a work grant from the Berlin Senate. 2017: Work grant from the State of Rhineland-Palatinate.
