Rolf Dieter Brinkmann Scholarship
The Rolf Dieter Brinkmann Scholarship is a literary prize awarded annually by the City of Cologne . The prize is named after the writer Rolf Dieter Brinkmann (1940–1975), who lived in Cologne from 1962 to 1975. The city of Cologne has been awarding a grant to young contemporary authors since 1971. In 1985, what had previously been the "City of Cologne Grant for Literature" was renamed the Rolf Dieter Brinkmann grant .
