Marie T. Martin will be presented together with Gunther Geltinger at the Leipzig Book Fair 2014 as the recipient of a grant from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.

Marie T. Martin (* 1982 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German writer .

Life

Marie T. Martin was born in Freiburg im Breisgau in 1982 . She lives in Cologne and in the Markgräflerland .

Professional background

She studied at the German Literature Institute in Leipzig . After her training as a theater pedagogue , she published poems and stories in anthologies and literary magazines, in particular in manuscripts , Am Erker , in the German Poetry Calendar and the Yearbook of Poetry. Selected short stories and poems have been translated into English, Polish, Romanian and Persian.
