life and work

After graduating from high school, he studied German literature , philosophy and classical literature in Cologne . Since 2004 he has published poems in anthologies, literary magazines and on the Internet. The Kölner Stadtrevue wrote about Thien Trans short poems assembled from a few words and verses: Contemporary poetry is often accused of being too cryptic and deliberately encrypted - if you are looking for a counterexample, you will find it with Thien Tran. In his remarkable debut, the author demonstrates how complex ideas can be made negotiable without losing their sophistication. In September 2019, Elif Verlag published a collection of Thien Trans poems edited by the Berlin poet Ron Winkler.

Thien Tran lived in Cologne.
