Ron Winkler (born December 31, 1973 in Jena ) is a German writer .

life and work

Ron Winkler completed his German studies and history at the University of Jena with a monograph on Durs Grünbein . During two semesters 1997/98 he was responsible for the publication of the Jena student newspaper Akrützel as editor-in-chief.

Winkler primarily writes poetry that has been published in several individual titles as well as numerous anthologies (including Der Große Conrady , Echtermeyer, Lyrik von JETZT and in several editions of the Jahrbuch der Lyrik ) and literary magazines. He translates poetry from English and was the founding editor of the literary magazine intendenzen . From 2003 to 2005 he edited the anthology Lyrik.Log in the online culture magazine satt.org .

Ron Winkler lives in Berlin .
