Tom Schulz
Tom Schulz (born August 18, 1970 in Großröhrsdorf ) is a German author and translator .
life and work
Tom Schulz grew up in East Berlin . He has been working as a freelance writer since 2002, before that he worked in various jobs in the construction industry. Since 2008 he has also been a lecturer in creative writing and from 2011 to 2014 he was the head of the poetry workshop open poems at the Literaturwerkstatt Berlin . Schulz also publishes his texts in various magazines and anthologies . In addition, Schulz is also active as a translator of Spanish , American and Dutch poetry and as an editor; the latter especially for the pub book series in the Berliner Taschenbuchverlag . He works as a critic and writes literary reports, a. a. for the Neue Zürcher Zeitung .
