Hendrik Jackson (born June 8, 1971 in Düsseldorf ) is a German writer . He lives in Berlin .

life and work

Hendrik Jackson grew up in Münster . He studied film studies , Slavic studies and philosophy in Berlin, where he lived for many years as a freelance writer and translator. Since 2019 he has been teaching German contemporary literature and translation at MGU Moscow. In addition to his work as a poet, essayist and translator, especially from Russian, he is the editor of the Internet portal www.lyrikkritik.de . He also organized the Parlandopark literary series with other poets, in which authors such as Marte Huke, Monika Rinck , Christian Filips , Steffen Popp and others. a. appeared and founded and directed the "Academy for Poetry Criticism" in collaboration with the House for Poetry.
