Daniel Falb (born October 11, 1977 in Kassel ) is a German writer and theorist of the Anthropocene .

Life

Daniel Falb grew up in Kassel and graduated from high school there in 1997. From 1998 he studied various subjects in Berlin, including political science and physics. In 2006 he received a degree in philosophy . In 2012 he was at the FU Berlin with a thesis on the subject of collectivities. PhD population and network as figurations of plurality . In the winter semester 2016/2017 he taught as a guest lecturer at the German Literature Institute Leipzig at the University of Leipzig. Falb has been a member of the PEN Center Germany since 2017 .

In 1998 he became literary for the first time and was a long-time participant in the authors' forum “Loud Nobody”, gave readings in and outside Berlin and published in magazines and anthologies. The end of 2003 his literary debut volume appeared in the eviction of these parks , this was followed by BANCOR (2009) and CEK (2015), all at kookbooks Berlin. For Anthropocene he published an poetological band ( Anthropocene. Seal in the presence of Geology ) in 2015 in the publishing house Berlin and a theoretical work entitled Geospekulationen. Metaphysics for the Earth in the Anthropocene 2019 by Merve Verlag.
