The Utschkorgon Dam is the lowest dam on the Naryn . It is located in Kyrgyzstan not far from the border with Uzbekistan .

The Utschkorgon Dam was built between 1962 and 1974. It is located 10 km northeast of the city of Uchqoʻrgʻon , which is already in Uzbekistan. The Naryn leaves the mountainous area in the area of ​​the dam and reaches the lowlands of the Fergana Valley .

The dam height is 34 m. The storage volume is 52.5 million m³. The net volume is 20.9 million m³. The reservoir has a length of 15 km and an area of ​​4 km². Upstream is the Shamaldysai Dam . The hydropower plant has 4 turbines of 45 MW each, so that the total installed output is 180 MW. The annual output is 820 million kWh . The fall height is 31 m. The village of Schamaldysai is located on the eastern bank of the reservoir . Two irrigation canals are supplied with water from the reservoir.
