Uwe Christian Harrer
Uwe Christian Harrer (born September 29, 1944 in Andorf ) is an Austrian conductor and composer .
During his career he led a. a. the Vienna Boys 'Choir and the Chorus Viennensis (male choir of the former Vienna Boys' Choir). He conducted the Vienna Symphony Orchestra as well as many foreign choirs and orchestras. Famous solo artists such as José Carreras and Walter Berry also sang under his direction .
He is the musical director of the Leonding choir community , the Leonding Symphony Orchestra and a youth choir there. In addition, he held the position of artistic director of the Vienna court music band for many years .
