With the Iserlohners he became champions of the Oberliga Nord in the 1988/89 season and was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga. Geiselmann then moved to the upper division EC Nordhorn , with whom he missed promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga.

The striker returned to southern Germany and moved to the second division EHC Klostersee , with whom he had to relegate at the end of the season. In 1991 the change to Duisburger SV followed , which had to file for bankruptcy during the 1991/92 season and stop playing. Geiselmann then went to EC Braunlage and in 1993 to ETC Timmendorf . About the Herford EG , where he played in the league season 1993/94 , he returned to the second division club EC Braunlage. During the season Geiselmann moved to the third division Grefrather EV . With the Grefrathern he was champion, but missed promotion to the 1st League North. For Geiselmann 1995 followed the change to ASV Hamm , with which he was relegated from the 1st League North.

After being inactive for two years, Uwe Geiselmann played from 1998 for the Herford EC , with whom he rose to the Oberliga Nord two years later. Even after voluntarily withdrawing one year later, he played for Herford EC until bankruptcy in 2003 and from 2005 for the successor club Herford EV . With the HEV he was promoted to the association league in 2006, before Geiselmann ended his career two years later.
