Uwe Haas (born February 26, 1964 in Merchweiler ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Under coach Rinus Michels , the young talent made his first steps in the 1st Bundesliga for 1. FC Köln . During the 1982/83 season, Haas, who was captain of all DFB youth national teams, moved from Saarland to the billy goats, where well-known players such as Pierre Littbarski , Klaus Fischer , Klaus Allofs , Stephan Engels , Tony Woodcock and Rainer Bonhof cavorted . Nevertheless, he made 42 appearances for Cologne by 1985 - at the end under coach Johannes Löhr - where he was also allowed to participate in the European Cup. In 1985 he moved to Arminia Bielefeld , a year later to Rot-Weiß Oberhausen , with whom he played in the 2nd Bundesliga . Then he played in various amateur clubs.
