Career
After the change from the youth of his home club SC Astheim , the first station in the 2006/07 season was SG Dornheim , with which, however, after the 2008/09 season, despite good performances, he was relegated from the sixth class association league Hessen Süd to the seventh division, including it a 3-0 defeat against SV Darmstadt 98 II , so it was initially very surprising that Uwe Hesse switched to the regional league squad of SV Darmstadt 98 at this point . Hesse immediately took over the regular position, jersey number (14) and the status as the absolute darling of the public from Rudi Hübner , which resulted in a number of parallels.
In the 2009/10 season Hesse played convincingly, but the lilies only reached 15th place. In the following 2010/11 season, however, SV98 managed to rise to the 3rd division as champions of the Regionalliga Süd ; Uwe Hesse had done his part because of his liveliness. Encouraged by the duels of the south Hessian SV Darmstadt 98 against the north Hessian competitor KSV Hessen Kassel in the Regionalliga Süd, Hesse achieved his nickname "Südhesse" in the promotion season 2010/11 , which was also used in every team line-up before the games instead of "Hesse" has been. On July 23, 2011, Hesse played his first game in the third division.
In 2014 Hesse was part of the Darmstadt team that made it to the 2nd Bundesliga . However, his expiring contract was not extended. In October of the same year, the third division SSV Jahn Regensburg signed him . With Regensburg in 2015 he was relegated from the third division and a year later as a regional league champion again.
After the expiry of his contract in Regensburg he signed on August 8, 2018 its new working paper with the new in the Regional Southwest ascended SC Hessen Dreieich . With the club he rose again from bottom of the table.
