Uwe Madel (born September 12, 1965 in Frankfurt (Oder) , GDR ) is a German television presenter and editor as well as an author .

Life

Uwe Madel grew up in Frankfurt (Oder). He was an active handball player, swimmer and attended the children's and youth sports school in his hometown. However, since he stopped growing at 1.80 m, he was not suitable for competitive sports and he switched to the advanced high school . After graduating from high school, he studied journalism in Leipzig and Madrid between 1988 and 1993 . Madel was cast as the author and presenter of various programs for the DFF - German TV broadcaster in Berlin. During his studies in Madrid he worked as a correspondent for several German daily newspapers.

In 1992 Madel started at ORB , today's rbb television. Here he moderates the crime magazine Täter-Victim Police and since 2003 the journal zibb - at home in Berlin & Brandenburg with ( Madeleine Wehle , Britta Elm or Angela Fritzsch ). Awards

Uwe Madel was appointed honorary commissioner by the Brandenburg police . In 2010 he was awarded the Berlin Crime Fox Award. In April 2011 the Bund Deutscher Kriminalbeamter awarded him the Golden Detective Badge and made him an honorary member in August 2012.
