Uwe Poppe

Uwe Poppe (born May 25, 1963 in Leipzig ) is a German actor .

Life

After training as a toolmaker , Uwe Poppe graduated from high school in Freiberg at the ABF in 1983 . While studying mechanical engineering at the TU Dresden , he came into contact with Manuel Schöbel , which meant that he switched to drama studies at the Berlin Academy of Dramatic Arts . After a seven-year permanent engagement at the Gerhardt-Hauptmann-Theater in Zittau, he moved to Berlin. Uwe Poppe founded the theater company Theaterbogen in 2004 .

Poppe has appeared in film and television productions since 1995.

Uwe Poppe is married to the actress Susanne Heubaum and has two children.
