Víctor Manuel Aguado (born April 1, 1960 in Mexico City ) is a retired Mexican football player on the position of goalkeeper .

career

Aguado began his professional career in the 1982/83 season at Club León and soon made the leap to the Mexican national team , for which he came to three missions in 1983 and 1984.

After five years with the Esmeraldas , Aguado moved to Club Universidad de Guadalajara , with whom he was runner-up in the Mexican league in the 1989/90 season .

Aguado spent his last season in the top Mexican division in 1991/92 at Santos Laguna .

After his active career, Aguado began working as a coach and was the head coach of the first division club Tiburones Rojos Veracruz in the 1997/98 season . In the Clausura 2006 he was in charge of the first division team of today's record champions Club América . In between he was national coach of the Guatemalan national team in 2003 .
