Víctor Mendoza Orozco (born October 24, 1940 in Mexico City ) is a retired Mexican soccer player , who mainly played in midfield .
career
Mendoza received his first professional contract with his "hometown club" Club America before the 1961/62 season and was there under contract for almost the entire 1960s. During this time he won the Mexican Cup competition with the Americanistas in two consecutive years ( 1964 and 1965 ) and again a year later ( 1966 ) the Mexican Football Championship .
After his departure from America, Mendoza played for the CF Torreón , the CD Zacatepec , Atlético Español and most recently for America's arch-rival CD Guadalajara .
