history
VR-Bank Rhein-Sieg was created in 2000 through the merger of Raiffeisenbank Rhein-Sieg with Volksbank-Raiffeisenbank Siegburg. The foundation stone of the company's history was laid at the end of the 19th century with the establishment of savings and loan banks and Volksbanks in the region. Through a large number of mergers, the number of the formerly sixteen independent banks has been reduced over the years. In 2016 the VR-Bank Rhein-Sieg eG merged with the Raiffeisenbank Much-Ruppichteroth eG and in 2017 with the Raiffeisenbank Sankt Augustin eG.

Training as a bank clerk offers activities in different areas of finance. The training period is 2 ½ years. VR-Bank Rhein-Sieg currently employs 25 trainees.

As part of the “VR Membership Events” and “VR Membership Academy”, VR-Bank Rhein-Sieg offers information events and seminars on current topics.
Social Commitment
