The business area of the bank includes the city of Schweinfurt and most of the district of Schweinfurt , as well as the city area of Arnstein / Ufr . the eastern district of Main-Spessart .

history
On December 4th, 1866 the "Arnsteiner Credit-Verein eG" was founded. After various mergers of the small cooperatives, the former Raiffeisenbank Werneck eG merged with Raiffeisenbank Arnstein eG to form Raiffeisenbank Schweinfurt eG. In 2007, this took over from VR-Bank Würzburg eG, both of its branches in Arnstein and Schweinfurt. Meanwhile, in the eastern district of Schweinfurt in 1997, through the merger of Raiffeisenbank Sennfeld-Schwebheim eG, Raiffeisenbank Gochsheim-Grafenrheinfeld-Grettstadt-Sulzheim eG and Raiffeisenbank Schonungen-Stadtlauringen eG, VR-Bank eG Schweinfurt Land, based in Sennfeld, was created. Finally, in the summer of 2009, Raiffeisenbank Schweinfurt eG and what was then VR-Bank eG Schweinfurt Land merged to form today's VR-Bank Schweinfurt eG.
