Valerius Hüttig

Valerius Hüttig (born November 22, 1869 in Löwenberg ; † October 15, 1934 in Dresden ) was a German engineer and honorary professor at the TU Dresden .

Life

Valerius Hüttig graduated from high school in Löwenberg. He then studied until 1894 at the higher industrial school in Chemnitz , at the TH Karlsruhe and at the TH Braunschweig . In the winter semester of 1891/92 he became a member of the Germania Karlsruhe fraternity (now Teutonia ). He then worked as an engineer in various heating and mechanical engineering companies. In 1912, Hüttig received a teaching position for heating and ventilation at the TH Dresden. From 1912 to 1934 he was an honorary professor in the same subject. In November 1933 he signed the German professors' confession of Adolf Hitler .
