The Valle Anzasca , German also Anzasca Valley , Valais German Vischpertal , is a side valley of the Val d'Ossola , from which the Valle Anzasca branches off to the west at Piedimulera . It is located in the Italian province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola in the Piedmont region . The valley, which runs from west to east, is traversed by the Anza , which flows into the Toce .

At the end of the 30 km long road through the valley is Macugnaga , which extends on the east side of Monte Rosa to an altitude of 1327  m slm . The valley is very narrow in the lower area, opens up more and more. The Walsers , who reached this valley from the Saas Valley via the Monte Moro Pass, left some evidence in the valley and, for example, largely shaped the historic town center of Macugnaga.
