Valongo de Milhais is a municipality ( freguesia ) in the Portuguese district of Murça . It has 329 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
Originally the place was only called Valongo . In 1924 the Portuguese parliament decided to rename it Valongo de Milhais , in honor of the war hero Aníbal Augusto Milhais (1895-1970) who was born here .
